Patsy Casias

Patsy Gloria Casias, 75, a resident of Los Alamos New Mexico, passed away on May 9, 2020, of natural cause as a result of Alzheimer’s disease. She was preceded in death by her mother Daisy Marie Trujillo, father Michael Anthony Trujillo, Sister Helen Quintana, and brothers Christopher, Rudolph, Robert, George, and William Trujillo. Born in 1945 in Springer New Mexico, she graduated from Springer High School as Salutatorian in 1963.  She married Charles Dennis Casias on July 6, 1963. While living in Los Alamos, Patsy worked at the Los Alamos Credit Union. She was also an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos, where she assisted in Sunday school teaching.  Patsy was a member of the Betty Ehart Senior Center where she enjoyed spending time with friends.  She is survived by husband Charles Dennis Casias of Los Alamos, New Mexico; three sons, Dennis Casias of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Donald Casias (Lisa),Stafford, Virginia and Carlos Casias, Los Alamos, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Casias of Stafford, Virginia and Isabella Casias of Los Alamos, New Mexico; two sisters, Betty Viers of Dodge City, Kansas and Lucy King of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and one brother Carther Trujillo (Lillian) of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Patsy was an aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be conducted at later date.
