Florence Roybal

FLORENCE ROYBAL, 88, a resident of El Rito, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2018, surrounded by her family.  Florence was born in Northern New Mexico to Albert and Leonor Leichtle.  She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Santiago Roybal, Jr.; son Philip; her brothers Albert, George, Elmer, Ephraim, Wilder and Donald, and sister Nora.   She is survived by her children Larry (Sarah), Marcia (Greg), Anna (Robert), and Jason; Grandchildren, Philip, Eric, TJ, Kelina, Marcos, and Carla; and great-grandchildren Marissa and Isabella; and sisters Emma and Flora.   Florence will be missed deeply by family and friends and will always be remembered for her love of her family, her love of baking, crocheting, traveling, and quilting. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View United Methodist Church in Espanola. In Lieu of flowers the Roybal and Madrid family asks donations be made to the El Rito Library.
