William T. Age - 49 - El Rito Romero

William T. Romero, 49, a resident of El Rito passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Romero; grandparents, Tomas and Veronica Campos; uncles: Leroy, Filiberto and Fernando Campos; father-in-law, Joe Canuto Martinez; brother-in-law, Kenneth J. Martinez. William is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cecilia Romero; children: Lysette Romero and companion Kris Cordova, Justin and Tomas Romero; mother, Florinda Trujillo and husband Abedon; brothers: Robert Romero, Greg Trujillo and companion Annie and Gary Trevino; sisters: Karen Trujillo and companion Michael Garcia, Loretta Ortega and husband Carlos Jr., Florence Trujillo; grandparents, Benjamin and Annie; mother-in-law, Lovie Martinez; sisters-in-law: Jeannette Trujillo and companion Robert Archuleta, Monica Maestas and husband Rudy, Lupe Leal and husband Tony, Alexandria Valdez and husband Chris; grandmother, Sophia Archuleta; two special granddaughters: Anjolie Romero-Cordova and Ryah Romero; godchildren: Greg Trujillo Jr. and Patricia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. A second rosary will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito with burial to follow at El Rito Community Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Gilbert Lujan, Harold Sanchez, Greg Trujillo, Robert Archuleta, Rudy Maestas, Tony Leal, Chris Valdez and Kristopher Cordova; honorary pallbearers: David Campos, Michael Garcia, Carlos Ortega and Greg Trujillo Jr. The family of William Romero have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
