William - Age 79 - Tierra Amarilla/Española Gordon

WILLIAM R. GORDON, 79, a resident of Tierra Amarilla and formerly of Española, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 following a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Maudie Gordon and wife, Margie Gordon. Mr. Gordon is survived by his children, Veronica Hennigh and husband Lonnie of Tierra Amarilla, Brenda Blackford and husband Jack of Henderson, Nevada, William W. Gordon and wife Barbara of Magdalena, Robert R. Gordon and wife Larissa of Panama, Steven W. Gordon and wife Natalia of Las Cruces; sisters, Helen Freeman of Española, Shirley Cook of Española and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and 3great-grandchildren. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Burial to be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family of William R. Gordon has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
