Walter William - Age 66 - Santa Fe Armburg, Jr.

Walter William Armburg, Jr., 66, a resident of Santa Fe passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 5, 2011. Mr. Armburg was born on August 24, 1945 to Walter William Armburg, Sr. and Louise Elizabeth Armburg in Fall River, Massachusetts. Walter achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America in Somerset, and after high school, he attended college in North Dartmouth, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Engineering from Southeastern Massachusetts University. Mr. Armburg worked as an engineer in Ohio and was an exceptional craftsman – designing and building furniture, leatherwork including clothing and accessories. He was a passionate collector of Indian Art, and was a residential building contractor in New Mexico, and included a custom medallion in the stonework of every home he built. Walter William Armburg, Jr., is survived by his daughters: Christine Kenney and husband Richard of Bellingham, Massachusetts, and Jennifer Scotti and husband Richard of Concord, New Hampshire. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Troy Taylor, Rachel Kenney, Megan Kenney, Nicole Scotti, Emily Scotti, Sarah Kenney and Dominic Scotti, his loving Fiancée Marilyn Cashman, his mother Louise Armburg, his brothers: Michael Armburg and Douglas Armburg, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A celebration of the life of Walter William Armburg, Jr. will be celebrated on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Osteria d’Assisi, 58, South Federal Pl., Santa Fe, NM 57501.
