VIVIAN M. VIGIL, 96, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Vivian was preceded in death by her son, Leo Vigil, daughter, Sheila Hernandez; parents, Nicholas and Ruth Montano. Vivian was born in Conejos, Colorado. She was a 1942 graduate of Loretto Academy in Santa Fe. She managed a Day-Care Center for 25 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making quilts. Vivian is survived by her husband Eduardo C. Vigil Sr.; children, Peter Vigil, Eduardo Vigil Jr.; grandchildren, Ronald Vigil, Joshua Vigil, Seth Vigil, Margaret Vigil and Sally Hernandez, 6 Great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Albuquerque, with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a burial to follow at the La Puebla Catholic Cemetery.
