Viola R. - Santa Fe Duran

Viola R. Duran went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, April 7th 2012, after battling a long illness. She passed away surrounded by loved ones. She was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe N.M., where she retired from the State of New Mexico Education Department. She is survived by her brother whom she was very close to, Leroy Duran; her children: Diana Duran, Roberta Perea and her husband Charlie Perea, Aaron Duran his wife Vanessa Duran, Atlantis Duran her fiancé Jemo Sanchez, and Andra Duran and her boyfriend Steven Padilla. She also has grandchildren, great- grandchildren, siblings, cousins, and numerous friends. She always had a kind word and joking personality towards everyone who know her. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Rosary will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at San Isidro Catholic Church in Santa Fe, 3688 Agua Fria St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at San Isidro Catholic Church in Santa Fe.
