Vince (Vences) - Age 50 - Chimayo - Martinez

Vince (Vences) H. Martinez, 50, a resident of Chimayo, went to be with his Lord on May 30, 2014. Vince was preceded in death by his parents, Vences and Frances Martinez; nieces, Patti and Carla Medina. He was a father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. Vince was known as a very respectful individual. He had so many friends who he enjoyed spending time with. He loved the outdoors especially fishing. He will be dearly missed. Vince is survived by his children, Elena Gold of San Diego, CA, Fallon Romero of Dallas TX, son, Vences Hilario Martinez of Springer; sisters, Edna Martinez of Chimayo, Anna Marie Salazar of Pueblo, CO, and Vivian Romero and companion Gilbert Olivas, niece, Diane Lujan of Alcalde, Michael Salazar of Denver CO; nephew Fred Flores of Chimayo, and Marvin Romero Jr. of La Puebla; niece Maria Elena Romero, Las Cruces, NM and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church in Chimayo. The family of Vince H. Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
