VICENTE NORMAN GALLEGOS III, 19, to close family and friends he was known as Bubba, a resident of Shreveport, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015. He was born September 12, 1995 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Vicente Jr. and Felice Gallegos. He graduated from Byrd High School where he was a proud member of the football and lacrosse teams; he continued his education at Bossier City Community College. Above all he loved and deeply cared for his family and believed in strong family roots and values. Vince is survived by his parents, Vicente Jr. and Felice Gallegos; sisters, Natalie Gallegos and Jennifer Wohleking; brothers, Jose and James Lopez; grandparents, Vicente Sr. and Caroline Gallegos; Godparents, William and Yvonne Elias; aunt and uncle, Joshua and Yvette Bakken; Villa Señor, aunts, uncles and cousins. brother-in-law, Doug Wohleking; sister-in-Law, Diana Lopez; God sister, Mia Elias; God brother, Jordan Bell, Nieces Alexis, Jessie, Cynthia and Andie; nephews, Ian, Adam, Derek, and Louie; and special cousin, Alejandra Gallegos, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 6:00 with a rosary to follow at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ojo Caliente. Cremation to follow services.
