Vialquin - Age 40 - Canjilon - Valdez

VIALQUIN VALDEZ, 40, of Canjilon, NM who resided in Chama, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 16, 2011. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Amarante and Filomena Valdez and maternal grandparents, Moises and Benancia Atencio. He worked as a firefighter and a logger. He loved to fish and was an avid outdoorsman. He was also a Green bay Packers fan. Mr. Valdez is survived by his wife of 16 years, Rosella Valdez; children, Jacob and Jonah Valdez; parents, Juan and Rosina Valdez; sisters, Juanita Montoya, Deborah Ulibarri, Louisa Valdez, Tanya Valdez and Amada Valdez; brothers, Amarante and Reyes Valdez; loving in-laws and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chama Valley Worship Center in Chama.
