Urban Quintana

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Urban Quintana, 37, of Alcalde, NM, He passed away on January 24, 2025. 

Urban was born on February 2, 1987, to Debbie Sherwood and Urban Quintana in Espanola, NM.

Urban loved to draw and do tattoos for others. He loved working on his vehicles and always being there to help his mom, sister, relatives, or friends whenever needed. Urban was a loving giving person he didn't have one mean bone in his body. He never judged anyone, not even when the person was at their lowest in life. 

He will be greatly missed by many. 

Urban was preceded in death by his father Urban Quintana; paternal grandparents Rafael Desiderio and Clorinda Quintana of Santo Nino, NM; maternal grandparents Jack and Mabel Sherwood of Chimayo, NM; uncles Carlos, Dennis, Leroy and Gilbert Sherwood of Chimayo, NM, Eloy Quintana (Flora), Stephen Quintana (Rosie), Robert Quintana, and Joe Quintana; aunts Patty Sherwood of Chimayo, NM, Erma Montoya of Delta, CO. and Beatrice Martinez (Henry); cousins Michael Sherwood, Kevin Romero, and Robert Trujillo.

He is survived by his son Damian Quintana, mother Debbie Sherwood, sister Alexandra Sherwood (Daniel), and his only niece Angelee Abeyta of Alcalde, NM; uncles Wayne, Albert, and Sammy Sherwood, uncle Silviano Quintana (Elsie); aunts; Della and Judy Sherwood, aunts Viola and Cecilia Quintana , NM; His Godparents Corine and Jerry Martinez of La Puebla, NM; close cousins that were like his brothers/sister Casey Montoya, Samuel Romero and Michelle Pacheco of La Puebla, NM, and numerous other relatives.

A Memorial Service will take place at The Rock Christian Fellowship Church on Saturday, February 8, at 11:00 am.
