Tony Brian - age 46 - Espanola Gallegos

Tony “El Gallo” Brian Gallegos, 46, a resident of Española passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Tony J. Gallegos; maternal grandparents, Lalo and Claudina Salazar; paternal grandparents, Modesto and Elosia Gallegos; cousin, Eddie Salazar, Jr.; aunts, Alicia Salazar and Modesta Gallegos; uncle, Andres Salazar and God parents, Pedro and Celia Herrera. Tony had a passion for lowriders and drawing. He loved his pets his dog, Pugsy and cat Pañtero. His friends and his family were his world especially his mother. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his son, Estevan Gallegos and fiancé Cassidy; mother, Josie Gallegos; sister, Crystal Gallegos; brother, Jerome Gallegos and companion Mona Ramirez; mother of his son, Josephine Cordova; close cousins, Gary Salazar, Carlos Salazar, Nick Herrera, Brianna Montoya and her daughter Nevaeh, plus many other close cousins; nephew, Robert Padilla Jr.; special friends, Stephanie Chavez and Leo Padilla, Jr.; uncles, Henry Salazar and wife Grace, Eddie Salazar and wife Alicia, Regino Salazar and wife Edna, Michael Salazar and companion Darlene and Presciliano Sanchez; aunts, Emma Madrid and husband Ricky, Betty Martinez and husband James and Nora Barela; plus many other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 9:45 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Henry Salazar, Jimmy Martinez, Carlos Salazar, Gene Alire, Nick Herrera and Robert Padilla, Jr.; honorary pallbearers are Lisa, Vicky, Brianna, Angelina, Jessica, Cindy, Angel, Rocky, Ivan and Gary. The family of Tony “El Gallo” Brian Gallegos has entrusted their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
