Tony A. Age - 75 - Santa Fe Zamora

Tony A. Zamora – 75, a resident of Santa Fe passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, October 3, 2011. The pride & joy of his life were his grandchildren & family. He loved the outdoors & he loved his tractor. He was very actively involved with the Farmers Market all over the state for over 30 years. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Zamora and Andreita Zamora; daughter, Judy Zamora; father-in-law, Jacobo Montoya; brothers: Ben and Jimmy Zamora; brothers-in-law: Albert Ortiz, Joe Segovia and Harvey Fernandez. Mr. Zamora is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen Zamora of Santa Fe; children: Tony Zamora Jr. of Vadito, Virginia Morales and husband Raul of Bernal, Susie Lopez and husband John of Española, Gloria Zamora of Santa Fe, Rosie Zamora of Albuquerque and Jimmy Zamora and wife Kristen of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Felicia, James and Ryan Zamora; step-grandchildren: Rebecca Bustamante and husband Daniel, JoLyn Westerholt and husband Harley, John “J.J.” Lopez Jr. all of Pueblo, CO; step great-grandchildren: Alyssa and Marcus Bustamante of Pueblo, CO; brother/sisters: Olivia McBride and husband Jerry of Pennsylvania, Juanito Zamora and wife Sylvia of Santa Fe, JoAnn Malinowski and husband Mike of Santa Fe, Flora Griego and husband Matthew of La Cienega, Pauline Zamora of Santa Fe and Arlene Zamora of Bernalillo; mother-in-law, Delia Montoya of Vadito; sisters-in-law: Adelaida Ortiz of Rodarte, Rebecca Segovia of Lyden, Georgia Romero and husband Juan of Vadito, Eppie Sanchez and husband Joe of Rodarte, Gene Montoya of Salt Lake, Peggy Hall and husband John Sr. of Santa Fe; special friends: Eleanor, Adam and Michael Lobato, Thomas Aragon and Rosa Maria; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church in Santa Fe. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church in Peñasco with burial to follow at Vadito Cemetery in Peñasco with the following serving as pallbearers: Benny, Joe and Martin Zamora, Joe Malinowski, Pastor John Hall and Daniel Hall; honorary pallbearers: Jake Segovia, Raul Morales, John Lopez and Jimmy Zamora.
