Tommy P. Martinez, 72, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 due to a long term illness. He was preceded in death by his son, Isaac; brothers, Albert, Jimmy, and Jimmy Baby; granddaughter, Jennifer Martinez; and parents, Thomas and Eliza Martinez. Tommy was a construction worker, truck driver, and tractor operator for 50 years, and loved to work on his case tractor. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all those who loved and knew him. Mr. Martinez is survived by his daughters, Theresa Martinez-Garcia (Ralph), and Pauline Martinez (Matthew LeDoux); grandchildren, Lukas LeDoux, Victorya, Luiz, Manuel, and Rochelle Garcia, Alexis, Dylan, and Unity Martinez; great-granddaughter, Allyha Garcia; ex-wife, Evelyn Gallegos; brothers, Jeffrey, Johnny, Prox, and Jose; sisters; Rayitos, Rosa, Lupe, Geraldine, Mary, Annie, and Elena, including many other family and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a memorial mass to follow at 1:30 p.m. The family of Tommy P.
