Tommy - Age 61 - Alcalde Diaz

TOMMY DIAZ, 61, a resident of Alcalde, was called home to be with his parents and brother, Albert on Thursday, November 1, 2012. He was born August 16, 1951 to Luis and Rebecca Diaz. He ventured out as a young man and earned as Associates degree in Drafting. He loved family time, art, gardening and fishing. He occupied a lot of his time maintaining his granddaughter Lili’s park and taking care of his brother, Bon. Mr. Diaz is survived by his only daughter, Tammy Diaz (Baby); granddaughter, Lili; life-long companion, Bernadette Bustos; brothers, Bon, Franklin and wife Lucille and Archie and wife Elisa; sisters, Tere and husband Ross, Melva, Orla and husband Bobby, Helen and husband Steve, Dorothy and husband Clyde, Estelle and husband Randy and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Alcalde.
