Tim Leroy Gonzales

Timothy (Leroy) Gonzales, 71, of El Rancho, NM, passed away peacefully with his loving family alongside him on March 19, 2024. While battling a tough illness, the Lord decided it was time for him to go home and be free once more of all sickness.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents Celedon and Lola Gonzales, sister Geraldine Jaquez, and mother-in-law Emma Chavez.

Tim is survived by Friend Diane Gonzales and Children Tammy, Sharon, Janelle (Larry), Gene (Doreen) and Jennifer; Grandchildren Alysha (Tom), Keeana, David, Gene Patrick, Jayden and three great- grandchildren. Siblings, Karen Burkeheimer, Joyce Gonzales-De Cabeza De Vaca (Late husband Don), Don Gonzales (Paulene), Sandra Garringer (Neal), and Joseph Gonzales.

Tim (a.k.a Leroy, Bob, Grandpa Bob, Bronson, Grandpa crazy) was born April 5, 1952, in El Rancho, NM. He was a cherished soul known for his fun-loving spirit, captivating conversations, and warm friendship. He had a passion for Fishing, Camping, Bike riding, and going for walks with his dogs. Tim's presence illuminated the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of joy and camaraderie. He will be deeply missed by family and friends, his memory forever cherished in our hearts.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Espanola, NM with a viewing at 10:30am, rosary at 11:00am and mass at 11:30am. A reception will be held after funeral services at La Fonda Del Sol in Espanola, NM from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
