Thomasita N. - Española Cata

\r\nThomasita N. Cata , a resident of Espanola was called home by our Lord Jesus on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Thomasita was born to Mary B. and Faustine Chavez on November 5, 1923. Thomasita is survived by her daughters; Barbara and husband Larry Phillips, Marie Kaye and companion Tony, son, Ernest and wife Sandra Cata, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. Public visitation will begin on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 6:45 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. also in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel with a second rosary to be recited at 7:45 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 7:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with a burial to follow at 9:45 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family of Thomasita Cata has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n \r\n \r\n
