Theresa Lopez

THERESA ANN LOPEZ, 53, a resident of Lyden, passed away of a lengthy illness on Monday, March 27, 2017. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Benito and Tita Espinoza, Ercilia  Mollohan and Amador Lopez, Beatrice Lopez, Charlie Mollohan; beloved brother-in-law, Eddie Gallegos; aunt, Annie Mendoza; uncle, Sal Sanchez, Chuckie Mollohan, George Lopez; and cousin, Georgie Lopez. Theresa loved to crochet blankets and give them away to her friends. She loved to work on puzzle books and loved her cats. She loved watching Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right and loved her nephew, little Eddie and niece, little Theresa. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Theresa is survived by her parents, Joseph “Gene” and Rosina Lopez; sister, Betty Gallegos (Robert); niece, Theresa Gallegos (Dalas), nephew, Edward Gallegos, great nephew, Josiah and Armani; uncles and aunts, Robert and Betty Espinoza, Joe A. Espinoza, Shaya Lopez, Bill Mendoza, Charlotte Sanchez, Leroy and Celina Lopez; best friend, Soleda Martinez and many cousins and other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Finklestein and staff, Legacy Hospice, Ramona, Barbara and Paula. Public visitation will begin on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada.
