Terri - Age 58 - Rio Rancho/San Pedro Rodriguez

Terri Rodriguez – Age 58 a resident of Rio Rancho and originally of San Pedro passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Martinez; maternal grandmother, Reyes Quintana; great-aunt, Eutimia Esquibel; paternal grandmother, Amelia Jacquez and mother-in-law, Helen Rodriguez. Terri worked for the Attorney General’s Office, she was an artist, an excellent cook, and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, all of which she loved dearly. Terri was a 1971 graduate of Española High School. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Rodriguez of Rio Rancho; children: Valerie and Jeff Rodriguez both of Rio Rancho and Jeremy Rodriguez of Denver, CO; mother, Bernie Martinez of San Pedro; brother, Eddie Martinez and wife Julie of Laguna Hills, CA; sisters: Pauline Martinez of San Pedro and Jeannie Vasquez and husband Joe of Arroyo Seco; grandchildren: Dominic and Elena Talachy both of Rio Rancho; sister-in-law, Eva Martinez and husband Elbert of Rio Rancho; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with a rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz with the following serving as pallbearers: Benny and Dennis Roybal, Tommy Vigil, Joseph Vasquez, Vincent Martinez and Bodie Morgan. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Joey Vigil, Rodney Casados, Jessy Martinez and Leo David Rodriguez.
