Teresa - Age 90 - El Rancho - Quintana

TERESA DE JESUS QUINTANA, 90, a resident of El Rancho, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Librado Quintana; and children, Alfonso and Christina Quintana. She loved to garden and canning and her pets. Mrs. Quintana is survived by her children, Jose L. Quintana and wife Amelia of Sombrillo, Martha Kessler of Albuquerque, Samuel Joseph Quintana, Mary Agnes Johnson both of Santa Fe, Candida Pierce and husband James of Albuquerque and Helen Rita of El Rancho; brother-in-law, Dan Quintana; sister-in-law, Oralia Quintana both of El Rancho; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in El Rancho. Burial will follow at 12:45p.m at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as honorary pallbearers, Eric and Adam Quintana, Mel and Chris Valdez and Nicholas and Brandon Pierce. The family of Teresa de Jesus Quintana has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n \r\n
