Teddie Archuleta, 75, a resident of Española passed away from a lengthy illness on Monday, April 15, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Jesusita Ulibarri; sister, Lydia Archuleta; brother, Gerald Ulibarri. Mrs. Archuleta is survived by her husband, Mike Archuleta of Española; children: Patti Archuleta of Santa Fe, Miguel Archuleta of Rio Chama; grandchildren: Jessica Natalia Sanchez and husband John of Santa Fe, Marcella Archuleta and husband Chris Maile of Santa Fe, Antonio Riley Archuleta of Arizona, Sonya Valdez of Austin, TX, Monica Archuleta of Austin, TX; great-grandchildren: Joella Jade Sanchez of Santa Fe, Joseph Jacob Sanchez of Santa Fe, Kaileena Riley of Arizona, Alexandra Riley of Arizona, Lukas Romero of Austin, TX; siblings: Libby Martinez and husband Johnny of Salt Lake City, UT, Mary Miller and husband Bob of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Ulibarri of Albuquerque; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving the family as pallbearers: Antonio Riley, Ernie Archuleta, John Sanchez, Phillip Archuleta, Chris Maile, James Archuleta, Jr., David Archuleta, Jr. and Phillip Archuleta III; honorary pallbearers: Joella Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Lukas Romero, Kaileena Riley and Alexandria Riley. The family of Teddie Archuleta have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
