Ted Martinez "Terrible Ted"

TED L. MARTINEZ “TERRIBLE TED”, 58, a resident of La Puebla passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 of a lengthy illness. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Manuel O. Martinez; cousin, Thomas Maestas; uncles, Orlando Maestas, and Harold Vigil. Ted was a mechanic and loved fishing, hunting, camping and just loved the outdoors. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Ted is survived by his daughter, Feliciana Martinez (Vidal Garcia) of Rio Chama; granddaughter, Alexis Herrera of Rio Chama; mother, Lilly V. Martinez of Arroyo Seco; brothers, Israel Martinez (Anita) of Albuquerque, Tim Martinez of El Guache, Mark Martinez (Stephanie) of Los Lunas, Joseph Martinez of Arroyo Seco; uncles, Senator Richard Martinez of Shadow Mountain, Gilbert Martinez of El Paso, TX, Jose Martinez and Viola, aunts, Bertha Maestas of Espanola, Theresa Romero (Henry) of La Puebla, Lorraine Abeyta of La Puebla; special cousin, Marcia Martinez (Steve) of El Duende, and many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola, with a burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
