Tammie N. - Age 32 - Chimayo Medina

Tammie N. Medina, 32, a resident of Chimayo, went home peacefully surrounded by her family, on Sunday, November 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul H. Medina; nephew, David Trujillo, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Susana Duran; maternal grandfather, Willie Duran, and two very special uncles, Tommy and Pancho Medina. Tammie loved spending time with her family which she loved very much. She also enjoyed camping, having barbeques, dancing and planning birthday parties for her children. Ms. Medina is survived by her mother, Annabelle Medina; children, Brandy Garcia and Damian Gallegos; fiancé, Dennis Gallegos, Jr.; sister, Paula and husband David Trujillo, a very special niece, Miranda Trujillo; God-parents, Janet Rodriguez and Paul Aquilar; very special friends, Bobbie and Leon and numerous other family members and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated immediately after. Burial to follow at the Potrero Catholic Cemetery with the following family serving as pallbearers, Dennis Gallegos, Jr., Leon Salazar, David Trujillo, James Garcia, Charles Vigil, and Delaino Quintana. Honorary pallbearers will be, Miranda Trujillo, Ramon Romero, Derek Rael, Crystal Sanchez, Jonathan Pacheco, Darrell Trujillo, Sr. and Leland Martinez, Jr. The family of Tammie Medina has entrusted their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. \r\n
