Sydney Ann Spears Law, age 68, went peacefully to be with the Lord in the comfort of her home in Chamita, Friday, December 21, 2018.  Sydney is preceded in death by her parents, James D. Spears and Joe Ann Spears, and her brother Danny Spears.   She is survived by her brother Edward Spears (Kathy) and numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Sydney Law, was a former Payroll Manager at Pojoaque Gaming until her cancer diagnosis a few years ago. To say she fought a courageous battle would be an understatement.   Syd was an amazing individual who always stayed true to her word.  She loved to laugh and have fun.  Growing up and living in this area for most of her life gained her lifelong friendships. Syd was genuine.  Her honesty was refreshing and one of her many attributes we grew to love and count on. She enjoyed many interests, including pottery, ceramics, and reading.Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 11 am at Sydney’s Church, Valley View Methodist Church in Espanola.
