Susie Baca

Susie R. Baca, a lifelong resident of Pojoaque and Chimayo, NM, passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2024, and went to be with the Lord.  Susie was a beautiful person and was known and loved by so many.  We will forever miss her.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband Eliseo L. Baca, parents Eufemio Rivera and Anita Roybal, son Walter Baca and daughter Nettie Baca, brothers Armando Rivera, Jose Rivera, Ernestino Rivera and Harold Rivera, sisters Laura Montoya and Mary Rivera, brother-in-law Joe Montoya, Jodi Bustos and Josie Baca and many other relatives.

Susie is survived by her children Gene, Alfred, Brenda and Ryan Baca; sister Frances Bustos; sister-in-law Frances Rivera; brother-in-law Rosendo Baca; grandchildren Shannon Baca, Monique Vallejos and Isaac Lopez and many great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 9:00 am at the Holy Family Church in Chimayo, NM, with a Mass to follow at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at he Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM, at 1:30 pm.

Serving as Pallbearers are Tomas Baca, Ramon Joe Bustos, Alexander Rivera, Isaac Lopez, Lorenzo Duran and Bernard Mora.    Honorary Pallbearers are Andy Baca and Benny Baca.
