Stephen - Age 27 - Española - Lueras -

STEPHEN L. LUERAS, 27, a resident of Española, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Alice Lueras. Stephen worked as a landscaper in Albuquerque with his brother at the Legacy Church. He was very family oriented and loved his parents. Stephen enjoyed fishing, running and walking his dogs and was also very easy going and liked to relax at home. Mr. Lueras is survived by his wife, Jessica Romero of Española; brother, Joseph Lueras and wife Deborah of Albuquerque and Thomas Lueras of Española; sister, Isabel Lueras of Española; nephews, Christopher and Joshua Lueras; niece, Ashleigh Lueras; father-in-law, Lawrence Romero and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Joseph and Thomas Lueras. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been setup for Stephen at Wells Fargo Bank. The family of Stephen L. Lueras has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
