STELLA G. SANCHEZ, 81, a resident of Guachupangue, passed away of a lengthy illness on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Benito Sanchez; son, Felix Sanchez; parents, Jose and Ramona Garcia; brothers, Ruben, Joe, and Sam Garcia; sister-in-law, Mary; Father in-law, Edwardo Sanchez; brothers-in-law, Gilbert Sanchez and Lucas Martinez, and great nephew Richard Martinez. Stella was a very friendly and loving person who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Stella is survived by her siblings, Lucille Martinez of Guachupangue, Raymond (Loyola) Garcia; sisters-in-law, Theresa Sanchez, Dora Garcia, Pauline Yambra and many other Nieces, Nephews, family and friends and loved ones. Public visitation will begin on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola, with a burial to follow at 12:45 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
