Sotero - Age 75 - Hernandez - Rodriguez

SOTERO RODRIGUEZ, 75, a resident of Hernandez, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Modesta Rodriguez; parents, Loretto and Magdalena Rodriguez; son, Ricky Rodriguez; daughter, Barbara Rodriguez; baby girl Rodriguez; mother-in-law, Eloisa Gallegos and 8 brothers and 3 sisters. Sotero was a devoted Christian who loved his Savior Jesus, devoted father and grandfather and friend. He was a proud veteran of the Army and served in the Korean War. He will be missed dearly but has been reunited with his wife, Modesta. Rest in paradise. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his sons, Joseph Rodriguez and wife Linda of Española, Morris Rodriguez and wife Matilda of Albuquerque and Sody Rodriguez of Lake Charles, Louisiana; grandchildren, Roxanne Rodriguez and husband Joe of El Rito, Ricky Rodriguez and wife Crystal, Freddie Rodriguez and wife Erlinda, Lee Michael Vigil all of Española; sisters, Vicky Archuleta and Lucy Garcia and husband Joe all of Santa Fe and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. Services are pending at this time, please call funeral home for further information.
