Shelly Millsap

SHELLY MILLSAP, 51, a resident of Española, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Shelly was preceded in death by her aunt, Faye Davis, Emma Baird; grandparents, Lewis and Ollie Millsap, Frank and Adonelia Serrano; cousins, Andrew Casados, Edward Romero; uncle, Lewis Jr. Millsap. Shelly loved children, she loved gardening, boating, and volunteering at the Española Community Market. Shelly was a loving caregiver, always had a smile for everyone. She was detail oriented and loved interior decorating. Shelly will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Shelly is survived by her parents, Eddie and Marie Millsap; sisters, Kimberly Levitt and husband Bill, Teresa Saiz and husband Marty; nephews, Kevin and Kenny Saiz, niece, Megan Saiz, nephew and niece, Kyle and Ashley Levitt; aunts and uncles, Joe and Marcella Romero, Frank and Alice Serrano; great-uncle and aunt, Levi and Mary Sanchez, and many other loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and beloved classmates of the Española Valley High School Class of 1983. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española with a rosary to be recited at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers, Mario Sanchez, Ralph L. Casados, Kenny Saiz, Kevin Saiz, Ralph Branch and Lawrence Serrano. The family of Shelly Millsap has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
