During Severiano’s life he touched so many lives; especially those of small children. While we were searching for photos to share with you today, it occurred to us that he was always surrounded by children in most of the pictures. They just gravitated to him and brought him a lot of joy and happiness as well as to the kids.
Severiano always made time to stop and talk with all who gave him the time of day at the stores or Casino. He always shared kind words of encouragement and humor because he had a great sense of humor and always making his family and friends laugh.
Severiano worked as a Pipefitter most of his life. As a professional Pipefitter, he worked on the Alaskan Gas Pipeline where he refined his welding abilities. He retired from the Local Pipefitter’s Union Number 412 after 33 years in 2004 from the Los Alamos National Lab. He was a General Foreman of a team that included Foreman and welders. These projects required extreme accuracy and precision, which was one of his most well-known skills. Severiano would never settle for anything less than perfect.
Although, Severiano had countless friends; his family was the most vital part of his life.
Severiano will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and we will never forget the wonderful memories that he left us with.
