Sefie Martinez

Sefie Martinez, age 71, a resident of Alcalde, NM, passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman Martinez, Sr. and Martha Salazar Martinez; his sister, Lorraine Martinez Sattler; brothers, Patrick and Michael Martinez; maternal grandparents, Seferino and Candelaria Gallegos Salazar; paternal grandparents, Patricio and Elviria Martinez.

He is survived by his siblings, Betty Norris (Randy), Julia Hills, Roman Martinez, Jr. (Lupe), Sandra Hull (Larry), Lucille Martinez (Charles), Doris Griego (Mike), Robert Martinez (Patricia); sister-in-law, Rita Martinez; paternal aunt, Edna Sanchez; as well many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Special thanks and appreciation to his dedicated caregivers, Betty & Randy Norris, for providing all of his daily, physical, and financial management needs.

A memorial service will be held on August 7, 2024 at 11:00am, DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, Espanola, NM.  A reception will be held at the Alcalde Community Center following the services. Private burial will be held at a later date.
