Santiago “Jimmy” N. Rodriguez, age 63, a resident of Norwalk, California and formerly of Santa Fe, passed away on Thursday April 19, 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife Lauren Rodriguez, parents Joe and Amalia Rodriguez, nephews Luis F. Garcia, Rigo Martinez and J.P. Martinez. He is survived by his son James M. Rodriguez and wife Elaine.\r\nGrandchildren Alicia Miquella, Gabrielle Irene, Emilee Marie and Eliana Grace Rodriguez, great grandchildren, Matthew F. and Mikayla D. Martinez. He is survived by his brother Joe B. (Irene) Rodriguez, sisters Lydia Garcia (the late Luis), Barbara Rodriguez, Senaida (Richard) Montoya, nephews Joseph (Christine) and Michael Rodriguez, Michael and Estevan Garcia, Pablo and Fernando Martinez, and Ricardo Montoya. Nieces Thelma Rodriguez, Julie (Aaron) Rosas, Veronica Garcia, Rebecca (Robert) Garcia and Amalia Montoya. He also had several great nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nJimmy was a sports enthusiast who loved baseball and basketball. During sports seasons you could find him in his Norwalk home watching the games, especially his favorite teams, the Dodgers and Lakers, and cooking up his famous tri-tip roast on the barbeque grill. He was a appliance service repairman for over thirty-five years traveling all over Los Angeles County. He was very knowledgeable in many areas and always had good advice for his family and friends. He was deeply loved by all. His sense of humor endeared and brought people closer to him. There were no strangers in his life, he loved people and never failed to make everyone feel special.\r\n \r\nMemorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Faith Church in Espanola, New Mexico.
