SANDRA JEAN KEDGE

Sandra Jean Kedge, age 84, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 14, 2023. Sandy was born in Evanston, Illinois but had many childhood experiences in Los Alamos and the Jemez Mountains that ultimately led to the Kedge family’s move to northern New Mexico in 1972. Sandy retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1999.

Sandy was known for her love of major league baseball, as a life-long Chicago Cubs fan. She loved the outdoors and especially spending time in the Jemez Mountains. She loved to watch movies and had many favorites.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Jack; their children, John Kedge (Kelly); Jennifer Curran (Mike); Adam Kedge (Lisa); Susan Davis (Kevin); Edward Kedge; and Chris Kedge (Lisa); 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sandy is also survived by her brother, Gordon Buchanan, and her sister, Kathy Moore-Singleton. She also leaves behind a cherished friend, Shirley Montoya.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 10:00 am at French Mortuary-Westside. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 12:00 pm. Please visit our online guest book for Sandy at www.FrenchFunerals.com
