\r\nSamuel Gonzales, age 87, a resident of Belen and formerly of El Guique, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He was born May 3, 1926, in Greely, Colorado. He was dearly loved by family and friends. He will be greatly missed.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his mother and father, Adela and Emilio Gonzales; his son, Clyde; three brothers, Manuel, Jose and Luis; two sisters, Susie and Veronice; grandson, Edward Quintana. \r\nSam is survived by his wife, Frances of forty years; four sons, Edward Gonzales of Belen, Dennis Gonzales of Tierra Azul, Jerry Gonzales of Santa Fe and Eric Gonzales of Taos; two daughters, Sennie Quintana and husband Edward of Cuarteles and Adela Trujillo and husband Jerry of Chimayo; two stepchildren, Robert Bustillos of El Paso, Texas and Jessica Trujillo and husband Ernie of Belen; beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and three sisters, Dolores and the late Pedro Martinez of El Guique, Ramona Vigil and husband Filimon of Ranchitos, and Pablita and the late Thomas Borrego of El Guique; sister-in-law, Anna Gonzales of El Guique; special granddaughter and care giver, Carolyn Gonzales of Belen.\r\nServices will begin at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, with a viewing on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 6:00p.m. followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A final viewing will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m.\r\n \r\nArrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
