Sallie - Age 72 - Española - Slater

Sallie Slater, a resident of Española, born April 26, 1941, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.G.; mother, Vera, father, John; brothers, Charles, John and Bill. Ms. Slater is survived by a son, Jeff Slater of Española; sister, Dina Medling of Mendanales, Lilly Hilburn of Oregon, brother, Gene Medling of Belen, and nieces and nephews, and numerous friends to mention. Sallie will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Sallie Slater has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
