RYAN T. BUSTOS, 35, born on May 11, 1981, a resident of Española, formerly of Velarde, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016. The world is going to miss the most caring, beautiful, loving young man and Heaven has gained another wonderful soul. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Berniece Bustos, Rosemary Lujan and Eloy Lujan Jr. and Antonio and Elsie Sanchez; and his best friend, Jarod Schutz. Ryan was the heart and soul of our family and will be greatly missed by all. He was a very caring, loving and outgoing person. He made friends with all that he came in contact with and people would instantly fall in love with him because of his beautiful demeanor. Ryan successfully graduated from NNMC in 2014 with a degree in Computer Aide Drafting. He loved hunting, Valle Vidal was his hunting ground, which he was successful and would always tell his dad, “I know where they are, dad”, fishing, snowmobiling, listening to music at the highest volume possible and loved singing karaoke. He loved being in the mountains, working in cars with his dad who was his best friend. He would always tell his dad, “listen to this song dad, it reminds me of what I’m going through.” He was proud and loved working on his and Sandra’s yard, his last project was the most beautiful Orio fence they were building together. Ryan is survived by his one and only daughter, Mia Schutz-Bustos, who was his most important, always asked his dad, “dad, do you think she’ll ever want to see me”, his fiancé, Sandra Padilla who he loved, honored, trusted, respected and adored; Dante Quintana who he loved like a son; father, Tim Bustos (Maxine); mother, Liz Garcia (Roland); grandpa (pops), Abel Bustos (Terry); sister, Raeanne Baca (Johnny) who he loved dearly and would fight for with even though he wasn’t that kind of person; step-sisters who he loved as sisters, Rubina Loibl (Chris), Beverly Vigil (Jen) and Krystal Vigil (Brian), nieces, Heaven and Halo Baca who he loved with all his heart; step-nieces and nephews, Elena Loibl (Pablo), Andrea Loibl, Gabby, Jackie, Rex and Rocco Herrera and Adrianna Tuttle and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rock Christian Fellowship in Española. Heaven and Halo (his special nieces who filled his heart with love) will be carrying his ashes along with the following pallbearers, Johnny Baca, Gene, Eric and Manny Bustos, Rick and Brian Montoya, Tim Pacheco (whom he considered his second dad). Honorary pallbearers named are, Paul and Mario Pacheco (whom he considered his brothers), Mark Valerio Jr. Orlando Archuleta (his loving friend and neighbor), Kenny Maestas (the Colonel), Roland Garcia and The Jemez Co-op boys.
