Rutelio Alejandro Age - 87 Peñasco Martinez

Rutelio Alejandro Martinez, 87, a resident of Peñasco passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. He enjoyed watching TV caring for his family and enjoyed working & going out to the casinos. He loved his family. Rutelio was preceded in death by his sons: Robert Martinez, Alex Martinez Jr.; wife, Estella Martinez; grandson, Earl Trujillo; daughter-in-law, Frances Pacheco. He is survived by his sister, Lydia Paiz and husband Joe; and by his children: Joann Trujillo of Peñasco, Pauline and husband Abraham of Las Vegas, Nevada; Patricia Price and husband Dan of Las Vegas, Nevada; Johnny L. Martinez and companion Sabrina of Peñasco, Donald Martinez and Ricky Martinez of Peñasco, Alexandra Charleston of Velarde; daughter-in-law, Sandra Gonzales of Peñasco; brother-in-law, Eliseo Gurule; special grandsons: Harold Trujillo and Christine and Michael Martinez; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces & other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco with interment to be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. with the following serving as pallbearers: Enrique Martinez, Desiree Martinez, Isaac Trujillo, Nathaniel Martinez, Harold Trujillo and Alexandra Charleston; honorary pallbearers: Eric and Alyssa Trujillo, Tommy Montoya and Silas Dominguez.
