Rumaldo F. Lujan – Age 93 a resident of El Guache passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents: Abedon and Carlota Lujan; wife, Delia Lujan; brother, Pedro Lujan; mother-in-law, Doloritas Martinez; father-in-law, Escolastico Martinez; brothers-in-law: Arnold and Bernabe and Juan and Manuel Antonio Martinez; sister-in-law, Cordelia Ulibarri. Mr. Lujan was a member of the International Laborers Union Local 16. He worked on constructing the Hunter Ford Dealership building. He loved the life of a rancher, raising cattle, his sheep, goats and his dog, “Little Buddy” he also liked recycling aluminum cans and copper. He is survived by his son, Jerry G. Lujan and wife Nancy of El Guache; daughter, Pauline Tafoya of Farmington; sisters and brother-in-laws: Frances Martinez of La Puebla, Marcella Martinez of La Puebla, Betty Read of Pagosa Springs, CO, Richard Martinez of La Puebla and Evelyn; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Las Nutritas Cemetery in Lumberton. The family of Rumaldo F.
