Rumaldo Jaramillo

Beloved RUMALDO TOMAS JARAMILLO , 37, a resident of Medanales, born on April 30, 1981 and passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018.  He was a hard working plumber, construction worker and was handy in just about everything. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and hauling wood. He loved music and dancing. He will deeply be missed by all who loved him and knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Mascarenas-Jaramillo; maternal grandfather, Pablo Mascarenas; paternal grandparents, Tomas and Trinidad Jaramillo; uncles, Jose (Joe) Tomas, Jose Avelino (Billy) Jaramillo, Jimmy and Leroy Mascarenas; aunts, Crucita and Celina Jaramillo; cousin who was like a brother, Desi Mascarenas. Rumaldo is survived by his children, Rumaldo Jr. and Rumalia Jaramillo; father, Jose Eugenio Jaramillo; brothers, Joaquin Mascarenas (Camelia), Mateyo and Lucas Jaramillo (Kristen); sisters, Zuleika and Natassja Jaramillo (Willie); maternal grandmother, Cora Saiz; his companion, Angel Romero; nephews, David Duke, Shawn,  Joaquin Jr., Leroy, Ethan, Nathaniel and Brandyn; nieces, Jocelyn, Natalia, Lorena, Evelyn, Nevaeh, Trinity-Hope and Kadence-Ann; uncles, Tim Mascarenas, Bobby, Pete and Ralph Jaramillo (Theresa); aunts, Yvonne Mascarenas (Joe), Pauline Tessmann (Ron), Margaret Broten (Gary), Annette, Angel and Arlene Jaramillo (Roman) and Odilia Minard; special friends, Danny Martinez, Lucas and Felipe Trujillo and many other loving relatives, family and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Medanales. Burial to follow at the San Antonio Cemetery in Medanales with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Robert Jaramillo, Willie Cordova, Lucas Trujillo, Larry Martinez, Ralph Jaramillo Jr., Joe Jaramillo-Bustos, David Duke Martinez and Shawn Martinez.  Serving as honorary pallbearers are, Ralph Jaramillo, Pete Jaramillo, Tim Mascarenas, Danny Martinez, Luis Cardenas, Placido Montoya, Elisa Trujillo, Joel Chavez, Adolfo Torrez, Felipe Trujillo, Jens Broten, Eric Jaramillo, Kyle Minard, Angelo Hernandez and Joaquin Mascarenas Jr. The family of Rumaldo Tomas Jaramillo has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
