Rudy Sandoval

Rudy Sandoval , age 42, resident of Hernandez, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Willie Sandoval; paternal grandparents, Remijio and Juanita Sandoval; and his maternal grandparents, Benito and Vickie Madrid.  Rudy was a very kind and friendly person.  He loved to play scrathers and enjoyed playing with his dog, Bitty. He also loved to go cruising all over Española. He is survived by his daughters, Desiray, Daizy, and Tiffany Sandoval; granddaughter, Amelia Padilla; mother, Velma Camargo; brothers, Willie , Paul, Ben Sandoval; sisters, Stella Camargo and husband Aron Sanchez, and Precious Perez (Fidel Sanchez); close friend, Laren Salazar; and numerous aunts and uncles whom he loved dearly.  He is loved and will be missed dearly by his mother, Velma Camargo. Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Willie Sandoval, Ben Sandoval, Paul Sandoval, Allen Madrid, Tencho Barela, Steve Serrano, Angel Banuelos, Anthony Sanchez and Laren Salazar.  The family of Rudy Sandoval has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
