Rubella Trujillo was born on November 12, 1960, in Española, New Mexico. Date of death is still unknown at her home in Española, New Mexico alone.
Rubella was preceded in death by her father and mother Benedicto and Eva Montoya, maternal grandparents Gambino and Magdalena Chavez, paternal grandparents Nestor and Juanita Montoya, husband Gilbert Trujillo , nephew Desi Mascarenas, uncle Luis Montoya, and her son-in-law Orlando Estrada
Rubella enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and family, she enjoyed watching her Novelas, listening to her Spanish music, and going to car shows with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids. Rubella also enjoyed plenty of family gatherings, Rubella lived her life as a homemaker, she enjoyed baking, and cooking for her family.
Rubella is survived by her children Juanita Martinez(husband Abraham Martinez) (of Alamosa, Colorado), Susie Estrada (husband Orlando Estrada) (of Albuquerque, New Mexico), Ursucina Trujillo (of Las Cruces, New Mexico), her grandchildren, Jacob Martinez, Abraham Martinez, Abrianna Rousey (husband, Haydan Rousey) and Isaiah Martinez (all of Alamosa Colorado), Lisa Estrada, Enrique Estrada and Isabel Estrada (all of Albuquerque New Mexico), her siblings Mauricio Montoya (of Tierra Azul New Mexico), Tonie Padilla (husband, Bobby Padilla) (of Tierra Azul New Mexico), Ben Montoya (of Espanola, New Mexico), Nelson Reyes Montoya (of Tierra Azul, New Mexico), Placido Montoya (of Tierra Azul New Mexico), Carmen Montoya (of Española, New Mexico), Ruben Montoya (of Española, New Mexico), Grandma Rubella also took in many as her grandkids, including( Salamon Martinez, Moriah Trujillo ( Husband Wayne Trujillo), Julian Bejarano, Layla Suazo, Martinez, and Rayleana Trujillo, (All of Alamosa, Colorado)
Rubella‘s pallbearer’s will be her older grandkids Jacob Martinez, Abraham Martinez, Abrianna Rousey, Haydan Rousey, Isaiah Martinez, and her nephew David Padilla, Honorary Pallbearer’s will be her younger grandchildren Lisa Estrada, Enrique Estrada, and Isabel Estrada.
A Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 5:00 pm, with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 pm in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu, NM, at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Abiquiu, NM.
