Roy A. - Age 57 - Chimayo - Towles

ROY A. TOWLES, 57, a resident of Chimayo, went to be with our Lord on Monday, July 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Sinforosa Towles and sister, Lillian Teresita Martinez. Roy enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved hanging out with friends and making them laugh. If you ran into Roy, you know he would always stop to chat. He loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed. Mr. Towles is survived by his brothers, Earl Towles and wife Lina of Cuarteles, Danny Towles and wife Geraldine, Adam Towles and wife Amy, Gilbert Towles and wife Loretta all of Chimayo and Stacy Towles of Cuarteles and Douglas Briggs and wife Kathy of Charleston, West Virginia; sisters, Angie Sena and fiancé Ron Solano of Chimayo, Debbie Martinez and husband Joseph of Cuarteles, Judy Martinez and husband Tony of Alcalde, Sandra Sedillo and husband Anthony of Alamogordo, Diane Little and husband Jim of Aurora, Colorado, and numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Burial to follow at the Nuestra Señora de Dolores Catholic Cemetery in Chimayo. The family of Roy A. Towles has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
