Rosina was married to Joe I Romero for 65 years.
Rosina loved the Lord with all her heart and lived her life with the desire to know Jesus more and for others to know him as well. She has left a legacy of faith that will encourage, convict and inspire those who knew her.
Rosina loved to cook and serve her visitors with some of her goodies that she always had on hand. Her specialty was her tamalies, red chile, tortillas, sopa, panocha and empanadas. She always prepared enough food to feed an army so she would always send food home with us which we greatly appreciated. Mom was the best cook ever!
Mom was always singing or humming hymns even up to her last days. Her love of music and her beautiful voice will always be part of our memories and when we hear a choir or person singing the old hymns, we will remember her with a smile.
Mom also looked forward to the Springtime so she could plant her flowers in the beds around her house. She would call us and tell us to go over and see them as she was very proud of them.
The family extends a warm thank you to Pastor Marcos Martinez for officiating the services and to
Abel Benavidez for the music. Thanks also to the staff at Sombrillo Nursing Home in Los Alamos who took care of our mom during the last 8 years of her life and to Elena from Amber Care for caring for her in the last few weeks of her life.
