Rose Mary Torrez, 63, a resident of San Juan passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Rose Mary was a generous person that never said no when you asked her for anything. She took in any one as her own. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gomencindo and Eumelia Gonzales; aunt, Lupe Flores. Rose Mary is survived by her husband of 45 years, Celso Torrez; sons: Abey Torrez and wife Marcella of Santa Fe, Jessie Torrez of San Juan, Jonathan Torrez and wife Sofia of Pecos; daughter, Donna Benavidez and husband Leonard of San Juan; brothers: Jose “Tito”, Melisandro, Gomencindo and Christopher Gonzales all of San Juan, Ramon Gonzales and wife Celeste of San Juan; sisters: Josephine Vargas and husband Danny of Flagstaff, AZ, Virginia Garcia and husband William of Flagstaff, AZ and Aurelia Gonzales of San Juan; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in San Juan, NM with a rosary to follow at 11:00 a.m. and Mass of Christian burial to follow at 12:00 a.m. with burial to follow at San Juan Cemetery.
