Rose M. Age - 81 - Truchas Padilla

Rose M. Padilla, 81, a resident of Truchas passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, December 27, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hipolito and Dulcinia Padilla; brothers: Zacarias, Willie and Arcenio Padilla; half-sisters: Beronis Hampton and Percide Barela. Rose is survived by her daughter, Dulcie Romero and husband Joeallen of Truchas; granddaughters: Melanie Archuleta and husband Angelo of Washington State, Jamie Dunn and fiancé Joaquin Wilson of Taos, Angelica Hernandez and husband Chris of Santa Fe; Grandson, Joshua Romero of Truchas; great-grandchildren: Leah and Isaac Archuleta, Kalylah Hernandez; siblings: Adonisa Aragon and husband George of California, Avenago Padilla and wife Ida of Albuquerque, Proni Corral of Truchas, Oralia Jaramillo and husband Charlie of Albuquerque; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Presbyterian Church in Truchas with burial to follow at Llanito Cemetery in Truchas with the following serving as pallbearers: Michael Panas, Chris Hernandez, Angelo Archuleta, Charlie Jaramillo, Joaquin Willson and Louie Sandoval.
