Rose E. - age 77 - Española Jaramillo

Rose Jaramillo, 77, born July 29, 1936, a resident of Española, went home on Friday, December 20, 2013, surrounded by her family after battling her illness. She was preceded in death by her mother, Filomena Medina and brother, Horace Medina. Rose was a loving and caring person, always thinking of her family first up to the end. She loved going to the casino, she loved having all her family at every holiday. We will miss her laughter and smile. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Samuel; daughters, Evelyn, Lucille, Nancy and Amy; sons, Mike (Renee), Wayne (Pam) and Johnny (Camille); grandson raised by her, Justin Jaramillo; grandchildren, Wayne, Jr., David, Brandy, Patricia, Eric, and Angelo Jaramillo; great-grandchildren, Elyse Vierra, Meika, Isiah, Amaya, Juelz, Noah Jaramillo and many relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española. The family of Rose Jaramillo has entrusted their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
