Rose Sandoval

ROSE “GEGE” SANDOVAL , 70, a resident of Sombrillo, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose B. Sandoval; parents, Manuel and Beatrice Martinez; brothers, Carlos and Guadalupe Martinez; and sister, Rosina McDowell. Mrs. Sandoval is survived by her siblings, Clorinda Elmore and Cornelio Martinez; sister-in-law, Ruth Martinez; niece raised like a sister, Alberta Martinez; nephews and nieces, Manuel Vigil (Anna), Kristy Vigil, Janaha Vigil and Anthony Salazar and numerous other family members, friends and loved ones. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at 12:45 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Billy, Juan, Jason, Justin, Jonathan and Jeremy Martinez. The family of Rose “Gege” Sandoval has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home of the Española Valley.
