ROSE QUINTANA, 86, a resident of Española, our beloved mother, grandma and great-grandma, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leopoldo Quintana and daughter, Orlinda Quintana. Rose enjoyed cooking and was a loving homemaker and a hard worker. Mrs. Quintana is survived by her children, Helen Rosas and husband Oscar, Patricia Trujillo and husband Angel, Phillip Quintana and Geri and Herman Alcarez; grandchildren, Yolanda Almazan (Gilbert), Nancy Padilla (Anthony), Margie Ortiz (Christopher), Leroy Martinez (Robyn) and Roxanne Trujillo; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Anthony and Daniel Padilla, Destiney and Leonard Martinez (Briana), Mark Perez, Crystal and Chris Ortiz and Elijah Trujillo and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at the Santa Maria de la Paz in Santa Fe, with a mass of Christian burial to follow at 10:00 a.m., with a burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family would like to thank PMS Hospice and her nurse, Jackie. Serving the family as pallbearers will be, Leroy Martinez and Roxanne Trujillo. The family of Rose Quintana has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n \r\n
