Rose Martinez, 86, a resident of Chama, N.M. passed away at her home in Chama on Thursday, October 17, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Martinez, parents Eginia and Telesfor Benavidez. She is survived by her husband Tony D. Martinez of Chama, daughters, Toni and husband Henry Gallegos of Chama, Genevieve and husband Gene Holloway of Corinth, TX, Eginita and husband Johnny Ulibarri of Chama, Judy Martinez of Chama and grand-daughter Jennifer Gallegos and husband Chris Gallegos of Chama, Sandra Martinez and grand-daughter Jessica of Chama, sons, Richard and wife Edna Martinez of Albuquerque, Michael and Vickie Martinez of Santa Fe, Steve Martinez of Santa Fe. She was blessed with 21 grand-children, 35 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
