ROSANA FERNANDEZ, 72, a resident of Hernandez, passed away, on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita and Manuel Garcia, father, Juan and Sinforosa Salazar; brothers, Paul Salazar, Manuel Garcia Jr., and Juan Salazar Jr.; step-sister, Anita Rendon from Fairview. Rosana is survived by her lifetime companion of 20 years, Fred Romero; son, John C. Barber Jr. and companion Eulamee of Santa Cruz, daughters, Jeanette and Angelo Prada of Santa Fe, Juanita and husband Kevin Gallegos of Hernandez; uncle, Willie Espinoza of Chimayo; brother, Richardo Espinoza of Santa Cruz, sisters, Savina and Richard Martinez of Española, Flora and companion, Guillermo of Santa Cruz, Maria Salazar of Santa Cruz, Alice and Gilbert Marquez of El Llano, Teddie Garcia of La Mesilla, Lucy Salazar of Taos, Virginia Salazar of Santa Cruz, Clara Salazar of Rio Rancho, and Dennis Salazar of Española; grandchildren, Andrew Jr., Charles, Heather, Tommy, Joanna, John III, Consuelo, Estrellita, Vennesa, Jenna, Monic, along with 6 more grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and many loved nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Funeral service will held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvery Chapel in Arroyo Seco.
